This skills-based course was developed with Microsoft and focuses on working familiarity with Test Professional 2010 and the power of Lab Management 2010 to reduce test effort through collaborative and replicable testing.

Become expert in the rapid deployment of complex virtual test environments and using Microsoft Test and Lab Manager (MTLM) to manage the complete plan-test-track workflow as you work through real-world scenarios, referencing Test Professional’s actual toolset and features.

After two-days, you’ll be able to define test plans, user stories, test suites and test cases in Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) for controlled manual test execution in the virtual lab using fast forward technologies.

You’ll also learn advanced testing features such as shared steps, parameterisation, test-data generation and rich-data diagnostics used to triage bugs and provide traceable and recordable reporting back to developers in shared steps for test-driven development.

This in-depth course explores the practical side of this integrated development platform and provides the basis for advanced use of MTLM including functional test automation, coded UI and web/load performance testing tools.
