Are you qualified for the job?

Certification

When you acquire accredited qualifications, you acquire proof of workplace capabilities benchmarked to a specific level of competency.

You also show employers that you’re a motivated professional committed to career development.

Becoming accredited in a niche such as software testing or business analysis positions you as a subject matter expert who can provide a commercial advantage to employers.

With 12-years experience in software tester training, Planit has trained more software testers than any organisation in the Asia Pacific in widely recognised qualifications endorsed by the following international bodies.

International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)

ISTQB is a governing body for software testing that supports a single, universally accepted qualification scheme for software and system testing professionals. It provides the core syllabi and guidelines for examinations set by regional and national regulatory boards.

Content for each ISTQB syllabus is taught by accredited training organisations (such as Planit) through short industry courses. The full qualification is known as ‘ISTQB Certified Tester’.

Planit provides a full range of ISTQB courses with programs to benchmark individual performance and corporate standards.

The Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB)

In recent years the role of a Business Analyst (BA) has developed into a specialist discipline with growing employment demand. ISEB is an internationally recognised body for regulation in BA training and has awarded more than 27,000 BA certifications globally.

To acquire the ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis, it’s necessary to complete four of the set practitioner certificates, two of which can be completed through Planit Software Testing.

International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)

IIBA is an independent, non-profit association for BA professionals with more than 10,000 members worldwide. It’s developed leading principles for best practice in BA that are internationally recognised and can be acquired through study with Planit.

ANZ Testing Board (ANZTB)

The ANZTB regulates all training providers in the Australasian region for the ISTQB certification. Planit was the first company in Australia to have courseware recognised under this scheme.

New Zealand Computer Society (NZCS)

The NZCS is the recognised association for IT professionals in New Zealand, and the guardian of professional ethics and standards in IT.

Project Management Institute (PMI)

PMI is the world’s leading organisation for project management professionals. It serves practitioners and organizations with standards that describe good practice, credentials that verify knowledge and experience, and resources for professional development, networking and community.
