Chris Carter

Managing Director, Planit Software Testing

Chris is co-founder of Planit Software Testing Services. He is also Chairman of the Australian New Zealand Testing Board (ANZTB – ISTQB’s Australian arm). His enthusiasm for software testing has been a key driver of Planit’s steady growth and reputation for integrity and service quality.

Chris has a highly developed ability to make sense of what is happening in IT and often speaks to the media on technology issues.

Sheona Devin

General Manager, Planit Software Testing

Co-founder of Planit, Sheona Devin is key to business planning, managing the strategic direction of Planit and growing the brand.

She’s helped raise the profile of software testing in Asia Pacific through a range of valuable industry forums and research initiatives including the Planit Software Testing Index. She is a key contributor to the success of Planit and the go-to person at Planit for media enquiries.

Mike Weale

Chief Operating Officer, Planit Software Testing

Mike has been Planit’s Chief Operating Officer since 2004.

With senior experience in HR and C-level management roles in the IT industry including GM of Sapphire Technologies, he’s charged with ensuring best-in-class service and training delivery, and maintaining an over 400-strong workforce of the very best people in software testing in Australia and New Zealand.

Simon Farrant

Principal Consultant, Planit Software Testing

Simon is accomplished in technical delivery on high-risk enterprise projects. He’s charged with ensuring Planit is always at the forefront of software testing in the key areas of test process, project management, training techniques and test tools.

Simon is also a Planit trainer and was previously test manager at Inland Revenue Department NZ. He has a broad range of technical and project skills including advanced expertise in business analysis and test management.
